Getting Excited!

I'M SO EXCITED!!

Placed deposit for my house. Still have many more things to do but if everything goes well, I will be able to celebrate my birthday at my own house! Woohoo!

Laws Of Attraction really works wonders!

I'm also blessed with many wonderful friends..

My Gui Ren - (Cannot reveal name, else everyone go to the person for help.. LOL!) I really liked the house but I didn't dare to go for it because I was worried about my (lack of) cash. Thankfully, my gui ren offered to lend me cash if I ever need it. But of course, I'm trying to manage my finances VERY carefully so that I don't have to borrow any money. But nonetheless, by having a backup financial help, I finally had the courage to buy the house!

Helen - She was the one who told me that Joanne is a good property agent (SHE IS!), shared many great tips and she's going to help me paint my house! Oh, and she will be giving me a cage for Fluffy and a rack for hanging clothes too!

Joanne - Helping me to get my house! (Not an expert in this but I think it's quite a good deal.) Previously she has been giving me a lot of free advice even though I didn't engage her to be my agent! Honestly I'm hopeless in buying house but she explained so clearly until even I can understand!

Gean - She has been so assuring and encouraging all these while! She's going to help me clean my house and she's going to give me a nice housewarming gift too!

So blessed to know this bunch of (siao) dog lovers. The care and kindness that they have given to me and Zai touch me greatly! 

It's funny how my friends (who are not even related to me by blood) are getting so involved in my purchase of my first and probably only house.. And yet if you noticed by now, I never mention anything about my family..

Will They Come Back..?

Today's Shirley's Baby (a golden retriever) passed on.

Unlike most grieving pawrents, Shirley was very positive.. Perhaps a little too happy?

Well, the reason is, Baby is finally free from suffering and will be reincarnate back to them next year! So happy for her and Baby! I hope Baby will be back as a healthy and adorable dog!

Shirley learnt animal communication and she is able to connect with animals, both alive and dead. Decided to PM her to ask if Cookie or Mocha will come back.. I sure hope they will! At least one of them!

Went to recce the flat that I'm eyeing..

It's nicer as compared to the time when I went to view it for the first time. 

Probably because it was raining when I went there previously.

Plus there were others around so I couldn't feel the vibes (haha!) there.

Isn't the view pretty? ❤

Well, it's facing the road so there are bound to have some noise.

But I'm okay with that noise level. 

Besides, there are 2 bus stops which make it very convenient for me to travel around!

As it turned out, she is staying just beside the unit that I'm planning to get.

Suddenly I got this idea to do a simple food art! 

So I went to do some online search and found these:

But hmm.. Would it be hard to arrange cauliflowers eh?

Then I saw this! 

So cute! That's rice? Rice is probably much easier to mould the shape hor?

Oooh! This looks like Mei Mei !

(And it seems easier to make? Haha!)

Is it too ambitious to make Mei Mei and Zai 鸳鸯戏水 inside the curry? Heehee!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Haha! This year's Valentine's Day is special.. Because Zai got a wife liao!!

Actually I've already passed her a Vday's present but I forgot to take a photo of it before giving it to her mummy Gean! Anyway it's a cute and sexy little dress with a princessy pearl necklace with a matching pearl hanger.. Heehee!

As usual, I couldn't resist buying cute dresses for Mei Mei so I got her another dress!

Praying before CNY!

Took leave as Ting Ting was going to be born today!

But ended up, we couldn't get to see her as she had some infection and she had to stay inside the intensive ward. Hope she'll be okay!

Went to my usual temple to bai tai sui but oops! Noob me!

I was told that I can only start praying after CNY. Haha.. Nonetheless, just pray lah!

Popped by here, which is just beside my usual temple.

Not sure if it was just coincidence.. When I was rather desperate, I went to pray at my usual temple, the temples nearby and then one day I noticed this! (Funny how I never spot this during my 4 YEARS working in FHI..) Wrote my wish just for fun and perhaps to give myself a little hope? Not long after, it actually came true! Not 100% but 90%? It was like a miracle to me!

Buy Buy Buy!

Lately I've been spending so much money on myself until I am feeling a bit worried!

Ipad Pro & accessories, Zi Wei Dou Shu Reading, Black Spinel Bracelet, Black Tournament Stone, CNY clothes for Zai and presents for my JRM friends who have been nice to me, Birthday treat for my Kor.. Etc.

But I gotta admit, I've been really happy! Haha!

It's been a long while since I spent this much money!

Can't help wondering if I would get a shock when my next credit card bill comes?? *Fingers crossed!*

Anyway, no point worrying now. Just gotta behave and not splurge unnecessarily from now on!

But nonetheless, today I ordered this pair of branded earphones!

It's also available in pink.. So pretty!!

But oh well, since the fengshui master advised me to cut down on shades of red, I ordered the blue one. (In the midst of gradually transforming my world from pink to blue and green now. Haha!) And besides.. Although both are of the same brand and model, the blue one costs $19 with free delivery while the pink one costs $70+.. What??

Previously I've been too stingy so I always got those cheapo earphones from BKK or China. Ended up the sound quality is bad and they get spoilt so fast! Missed listening to songs with good earphones so I decided to invest a bit of money in a proper pair this time!

Totally forgot to order Steffi's birthday present because I forgot Taobao will be closed for CNY until late February.. Darn! Ordered some stuff for her via Shopee just now. Delivery takes about a month supposedly.. But I wonder if that would be the case since the items are probably from China.

But I guess I can always bring her out first and give her the presents later. Heh!

Can't wait to see her reaction! I think she will like the stuff that I got for her! (I think the others will like them too.. Hahaha!)

Resume baking..?

It's a long while since I last baked cookies.. 

Suddenly I got the urge to bake again!

Maybe I start with something simple..

And bake these before though! But the recipes that I found online seem pretty easy.

Recovering!

It's been a long while since I last fell sick.. And this time I am actually sick since Nov 2017!!

Been sick for so long until I felt so frustrated and yet I couldn't do anything much about it. Eating medicine, vitamins and visiting doctors repeatedly also didn't seem to help much!

Not sure if it's because my body's weaker (slacked on my diet and exercise.. opps!) or simply because my company's doctors are lousy. Suddenly became very sick last Friday until I had to go back early! Despite seeing the doctor, eating the medicine and resting in bed over the weekends, I didn't get better. In fact, I started to have difficulties in taking deep breaths!!

Was so worried that I decided to visit my own doctor (which means not fully subsidized by my company) on Monday. After taking just the first dose of medicine, I felt A LOT better. Thank God! By now, I think I'm going to be fully recovered soon! Phew!

Zi Wei Dou Shu (紫微斗数)

A couple of weeks ago, I approached Mdm Li Fang to do a reading for me. (Thanks to Lynn for her recommendation!)
Was kinda unsure if I should go (because it costs $128!) but curiosity got the better of me so I still went for it in the end.

I'm glad I did so!

Before the Reading

Lowered my expectations prior to the reading so that I won't be too disappointed if it's not accurate or if it says I'll have a hard life.. Haha! In fact I was kinda convinced that I would have a hard life.

But nonetheless, I was very excited!

Even took half day off and went there early to wait.. Heehee!

The Reading

Was surprised that my life is pretty quite good. I'll have enough to use and spend throughout my life. In fact, my life (especially financially) will start to pick up from now on. Whoa, very assuring indeed! Not sure if it's true but it's definitely better to hear good things.. Heehee!

She mentioned some other things which are pretty true.. Coincidence?
Nonetheless, I'm going to try taking her some of her simpler advices and see how it goes! *Hopeful*

Post-Reading

Not gonna make a lot of major changes.. Anyway, she didn't advise any big change for me too. Just asked me to avoid all shades of red and try to choose colors like black, blue and green. (Coincidentally, Chris helped me to do a numerology reading and he also advised me to avoid red because I am hot-tempered by nature so I should get more cooling colors and avoid fiery colors..) 

And so when the Master says I have too much earth, hence I need more Wood (green) and Water (blue, black)..

I take it literally! Haha!

Not sure if it's coincidence but she mentioned that I tend to fall sick in the upcoming Dog Year.

Since late Nov, I've been sick and in fact, I'm still coughing now! It's been a long time since I got sick for this long ever since I've started to adopt a healthier lifestyle. (Although I did slack a lot on exercise and healthy eating lately.. Was too busy and then later I fell sick.. Not enough energy!)

Was thinking of buying a Five Elements Pagoda for better health..

Nice right? 

I bought the bass one before, but it got rusty after a while. Besides, Mdm Li Fang advised me to get the black one since it's my lucky colour.

Went to Fu Lu Shou Complex to visit the crystal shops! Kinda disappointed to see so few crystal shops.. But even so, I actually stayed there for more than 2 hours after realizing it!!

Anyway, all the shops sold the  Five Elements Pagoda. Almost bought one but I was thinking if I should buy something that I can easily carry around with me. (But then again, I'm still thinking if I should go back and buy it.. Haha!)

So I started looking out for a black tourmaline bracelet.. And then this lady introduced me to the spinel (尖晶石) bracelet. SO PRETTY AND SPARKLING!! (But of course, it's way more expensive too! $128!) It was love at first sight but I was hesitate to buy it because of the price and I never heard of it before.

Went to the other shops and none of them sell Spinel bracelets. Only then did I go back to look at the Spinel bracelets again (only 4 left, by the way!) to decide if I should get them. Somehow my gut feeling told me that I SHOULD.

And that's what I did!

It's destiny, I guess. Maybe it picked me to be its owner.

Missed my good old crystal shopping days! Felt so nostalgic!! I wish I had kept all the crystals / stones that I bought previously.. They are so expensive now!

It's only been barely a week and I feel like going crystal-shopping again!
